I got into woodworking because I wanted to make things that outlast me. Furniture that becomes an heirloom. Signs that weather decades on a front porch. Woodenware that get handed down and never thrown away.

Every project starts with a conversation. I want to know what you're making it for, who it's for, and what it means. That context shapes every decision I make at the bench — the species I choose, the finish I recommend, the joinery I use.

I'm selective about what I take on — not because I'm precious about it, but because I want to do right by the people who trust me with their ideas. If I don't think I'm the right person for something, I'll tell you that too.
